The LIFT program provides assistance, through sponsors, to children that want to attend VNM schools and have limited resources. This program focuses exclusively on children attending VNM Christian schools. Tuition is 40 dollars per month at preschool and 70 at elementary school. 1. The sponsor commits for at least one year, preferably longer, to help a child go to private Christian school. The amount would be 300 dollars per year or 25 dollars per month. 20 dollars go to help tuition costs and 5 to the program administrator. 2.. The sponsor is given several children to choose from. There are regular updates and communication, news on the child, as well as pictures, birthdays and so forth. Some sponsors like to send a special Christmas gift or birthday presents. 3. The sponsorship is given on basis of need, attitude, and potential of a positive response from both parents and child to the saving gospel of Christ. Please email jair@vnmi.org for more info or if you are interested in becoming a sponsor. |

Until recently, the Mexican government did not allow social or religious organizations establish private schools. When the law changed to allow that, VNM organized a program for local children to begin their early childhood education and also learn about God. VNM hopes to plant the seed in a child’s life that Education is an element that can help to break the vicious cycle of poverty. |

Children’s Ministries |

Vida Nueva Ministries was initially created in 1987 as “Vida Nueva Children’s Home.” It was immediately clear that the ministry of the Children’s Home was not exclusive to helping just the children residing in the home. It was a ministry that existed to also benefit local children and the community in general. As a result, the organization’s name was revised to “Vida Nueva Ministries.”
The Children's Home has provided total care for a number of children (in addition to other young people who have lived on VNM grounds). We strive to have a Christian family atmosphere and thus the children are presented with the great opportunity to know Jesus in a very real way and to experience personal attention by dedicated home parents. The ultimate goal at the "Home" is to produce God loving individuals that will eventually be a contribution to God's kingdom, to their own families, and to the society in general. |
